From the heady days of hits such as MPD LTD’s ‘Little boy sad’ and ‘Lonely Boy’, on through the 70’s with his top ten hit ‘Sympathy’. Col Perkins has been performing the songs of John Denver to audiences throughout Australia for over 10 years and the resemblance is uncanny, both in voice and looks -yes this is as close as you will ever get to attending a John Denver Concert.

Normie Rowe, Australia’s biggest pop star of the sixties was the first Melbourne recording

artist to achieve a national No.1 hit record. Backed by his band The Playboys, Normie released

a string of major pop hits on the Sunshine Records label that kept him at the top of the

Australian charts making him the most popular solo performer of the mid-1960s. Normies’

double-sided hit “Que Sera Sera” / “Shakin’ All Over” was one of the most successful platters

of the 1960s. Not withstanding he became an outstanding actor / singer of theatre (Les

Misérables) & TV (Sons and Daughters). Now it’s 50 years down the track and Normie will
